Workshop “Military Interventions Abroad: What Lessons Learned?”, December 10, 2024, School of Advanced Defence Studies, CASD, Rome.
The workshop “Military Interventions Abroad: What Lessons Learned?” took place on December 10, 2024, at the Pittoni Hall of CASD, Rome. During the event, the research units presented preliminary results of the PRIN 2022 project, exploring past experiences and future perspectives of Italian defense policy, with contributions from experts and institutional representatives.

Internal Workshop, June 18, 2024, School of Advanced Defence Studies, CASD, Rome.
On June 18, 2024, a workshop was held at CASD, bringing together all participants of the research project. During the meeting, the preliminary research results were discussed, with particular attention to the drafts of the first scientific articles produced by the research units, including the literature review. Additionally, a detailed plan for the activities to be carried out in the coming months was established, outlining the project’s timeline and how the work will proceed.
Kickoff Meeting, January 30, 2024, School of Advanced Defence Studies, CASD, Rome.
The first kickoff meeting of the project took place with the participation of both the research team and the Steering Committee members, who are experts on the project’s topics.During the meeting, ideas and suggestions were discussed regarding how to proceed with the work, elaborating strategies and priorities for the next steps.The exchange with experts helped define a clearer framework for future activities and outline a shared approach to address key issues of the project.
